About Bruce Larson

Bruce Larson was born in a small town in Western Wisconsin and graduated from Blair-Taylor High School. He and his son Lucas co-own Larson Plumbing and Pumps LLC in Blair, WI, a company that has been in the family since 1926. Larson is no stranger to hard work. His work ethic and life experiences have made him one of Wisconsin’s hardest-working blue-collar men who also happens to sing country like no other!

With his upcoming album, THE WAY YOU GO, set for release on May 1, Larson explores the life of a simple man through good times, bad times, heartaches and soberness. The upcoming 12-song project is composed of incredibly well-crafted songs and delivered masterfully by Larson.

The title track, “The Way You Go,” is about raising your son in the heart of small-town America. Teaching him to grow up a good man and leave behind a good legacy. “It ain’t about the money that you make; It’s the way you go.” This is an amazing country song written by Dave Gibson, Johnny Garcia and Jason Scott.

In the late-2010s, Larson found himself at the bottom of the alcohol trenches. What could have led to a dark road became his saving grace. His wife, son Lucas and loved ones intervened and came to his aid. Thanks to their support, Larson was ultimately led to a choice he had to make for himself. Larson has been sober since April 30, 2018, and thanks God every day for the blessings in his life.

“On a Barstool or with A Bible,” written by Larson and Scott Foster, is an ode to recovering and “saved” alcoholics with a gut-wrenching theme between God and the devil.

“Rockin’ Roll Cowboy,” written by Jim Femino and Johnny Garcia, is an uptempo full-throttle song about the strife and struggles of a country singer playing in the bars and honkytonks. Thanks to the writers in Nashville and Wisconsin for the incredible songs compiled in this project.

Besides performing at the bars and honkytonks in the Midwest, Larson has headlined at casinos, festivals, the 108th annual Grundy County Agricultural District Fair, the Lund Boat Show convention in Branson and was featured on The Shotgun Red Show in Nashville. Larson has also opened major shows for the likes of Brad Paisley, Lee Brice, Kentucky Headhunters, Lorrie Morgan, Neil McCoy, and other well-loved country names.

Larson has teamed up with Nashville producer Johnny Garcia (lead guitarist for Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, Joe Nichols, and Collin Raye) to create his newest release. Larson/Garcia is the perfect combo for making records together. Garcia has described Bruce as an “incredible country singer who tells the truth in every song he sings”.

Larson has recorded an amazing video for “The Way You Go,” which was filmed on location at Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter’s ranch in Tennessee. Stay tuned for the video from the up-and-coming country artist launching nationally in April 2023.
